Ellis from JR , NYC

Last year, the exhibition "Unframed" was a shock.
The short film from JR with Robert De Niro, gives us the cold feel, the feel which accompanied the daily life of the first immigrants in NYC . It brings us back, one year later, to the same admiration for all these people who went through so many  awful moments with only one hope: be able to become a part of American people.

JR is very active in NY this summer!

A marvellous ballerina is jumping on the corner of Church street and Franklin street  in TriBeCa, the building behind her is a french building in the cité des Bosquets at Monfermeil.

He also had a collaboration with Os Gemeos for a new mural on Chrystie street 

 and a second one on Thompson street with a third collaborator, André .

JR , french artist just finished a wonderful new project in NYC

He has been preoccupied with immigration in NY and his exhibit in Ellis island was about beginning of it , now we can follow recent immigrants
